Stern Pinball revisits a timeless classic with Metallica Pinball Remastered, a technologically enhanced version of the original 2013 masterpiece.
What's new in 2024 Metallica Remastered pinball?
In this updated version, Stern Pinball improves on the original experience with a series of enhancements that push the boundaries of interactivity and entertainment:
Colour LCD screen: a high-resolution screen with never-before-seen animations, live concert excerpts and new songs, allowing players to immerse themselves in the band's world.
Exclusive voice replicas: over 1000 new voice replicas, including personalised contributions from group members, provide a unique sound immersion experience.
Improved mechanics: classic mechanisms such as the electrified Sparky and the iconic hammer have been improved for smoother movement and greater durability.
Outstanding artistic illustrations: hand-drawn designs by renowned artist Rhys Cooper bring out every detail of the pinball machine, creating a striking visual design.

Since its formation in 1981, Metallica has become a founding member of the heavy metal scene, with iconic albums such as Master of Puppets, Ride the Lightning and The Black Album. With their breathtaking stage performances and their ability to unite millions of fans around the world, their influence extends far beyond the realm of music.
Stern commissioned John Borg to design the new Metallica pinball machine, while Reece Cooper did the illustrations.

"Ride the Lightning: the Sparky electric chair with a completely new, improved and articulated custom sculpture. UV lighting and a magnet that can catch and throw a ball.
"Master of Puppets: A motorised, illuminated tombstone rising from the playing field, protected by 3 falling targets in a row. A magnet capable of catching and throwing a ball.
"...And Justice For All": a motorised hammer that smashes a ball. UV lighting. Magnetic vanishing mechanism holds the balls while the hammer crushes them in a closed underground vault.
